Castlemen XV learning on the job. 🏉🏉

They say the best way to develop is step out of your comfort zone. The clubs second team, branded the 'Castlemen XV', have stepped in to the highly competitive North Wales men's second league this season. With the majority of teams coming from senior sides from Div 1 across the north Wales region.  

Although coming away with a defeat from a strong Wrexham 2s, the club and players have set a platform for regular 2s rugby. This shows the development at Flint RFC over the past 2 seasons having not turned out a regular second team for over a decade. 

Second team manager, Russ Smith commented "I was really proud of my side who never gave up against established union players". Anyone looking to join the club, we offer quality coaching allied to a family club with a great attitude.
