Great turnout by our players, ladies Warriors section and Flint RFC supporters, for our shirt exchange evening between Flint RFC and Flint Rogues RFC, MI USA. Rogues were represented by one of their players Josh Tousley who visited as part of his tour of the UK and Ireland. Flint RFC Chair Johnnie Hood commented " its great for the two clubs to create a link and hopefully it will develop in the future".
The evening comprised of our ladies WARRIORS session, mens touch rugby and a club BBQ to end the evening with of course a few beers to celebrate 🍺🍔🌭
The two club have some similarities in that both formed within a few years of each other 1969 & 1972. and Rogues having a another Welsh connection with current Club President & Coach Howel King originating from Wales. Both clubs play in Div 3 in their comparative competitions 👍🏉.
