Flint Castlemen hosted Bethesda 2nds at Flint High School, the visitors taking the lead early on to the Castlemen's surprise. Bethesda moved the ball quickly to the left and the right thoughout the game whilst the Castlemen defended well up front and continued to push until the end. The Castlemen were unlucky with a few decisions going in favour of Bethesda, that said the Castlemen kept their heads and their cool throughout and discipline was strong despite some off the ball handbags.

Five previous youth players joined the squad after a three year break and played really well, it was a pleasure to have them back. Two new players to the game fitted in well. Great performance all round despite the score, strong performances from: Dom 'the fluff' Harrison, Harry 'the head injury' Neild, Ryan 'I'm late' Haywood and as always strong performance from Damien Goss. The Captain 'player, actor' Hood and I Russ '80 minutes' Smith would like to say how proud we are of the guts, determination and class decorum that was shown by everybody on and off the pitch today.
